The Canadian diamonds we carry, Tundra Diamonds, are unique because they are the first diamonds that we know for 100% certainty where they were mined, ideal cut and polished. The Canadian diamonds are also very high quality usually having 0 AGS diamond cut ratings, showing beautiful hearts and arrows.
The Tundra diamonds we sell are from the Ekati mine (the only operational mine thus far) in Yellowknife, Canada in the Northwest Territories. The Canada diamonds are mined as well as cut and polished in this area of Canada.

Do you know where other diamonds are from?
We take pains to try to find out where all of our diamonds come from and we only work with very reputable sources, but it is impossible for any jeweler to know exactly where diamonds were mined and cut without some sort of pedigree system in place like the one the Tundra diamonds use. The major exporters of diamonds in the world are Australia, Africa, Russia, and Canada. Many diamonds are cut in Antwerp, Israel, India, and the United States. Diamonds from other countries, other than Canada, are tainted with slavery, child abuse, child labor, and may support terrorism.
Do all jewelers carry Canadian Diamonds?
No, TundraDiamond.com was one of the first independent Colorado Jewelers to carry Canadian diamonds. We carry the brand Tundra diamonds because their diamonds do not leave Canada until they are shipped to the United States. Some Canadian brand diamonds are still cut and polished overseas.
